Pitch your story

Have something newsworthy to share? We’re looking for timely stories, announcements, and insights from the people shaping Ukraine’s startup and tech ecosystem.

Whether you’re a founder announcing a funding round, a startup launching a new product, a VC introducing a fund, or a team securing a strategic partnership — we want to hear from you.

We welcome pitches from:

  • Startup founders and operators
  • Investors and venture funds
  • Corporate innovation leaders
  • Universities, NGOs, and government initiatives
  • Ecosystem builders and community leaders

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in original, newsworthy stories that highlight Ukraine’s evolving startup and tech landscape. This includes:

  • Startup announcements and press releases (funding rounds, product launches, strategic partnerships)
  • New venture funds, acquisitions, or portfolio milestones
  • Founder journeys, lessons learned, and turning points
  • Data-driven insights, market analysis, and timely commentary
  • Ecosystem news: events, reports, policy updates, or new initiatives

We welcome embargoed press releases and appreciate advance access to planned announcements when available.

If it’s shaping the future of Ukrainian innovation, we want to hear about it.

How to pitch us

Send your pitch to editor@uatechjournal.com and include the following:

  • A clear and concise summary of your story or announcement (2-3 paragraphs)
  • Why it matters now and how it fits into the bigger picture
  • Relevant links or background context
  • Supporting materials (images, logos, press kits, etc.)
  • Preferred timeline or embargo information (if applicable)

Include “Story pitch” in the subject line, and paste your pitch directly into the body of the email (no attachments, please).

We do our best to reply to every pitch as quickly as possible — whether or not it’s a fit for our coverage.

Want to submit an opinion piece?

We also accept opinion pieces from founders, technologists, investors, and policy experts with something original to say. Whether you're sharing lessons from building a company, offering insights on emerging tech trends, or weighing in on the future of Ukraine’s innovation economy — we want to hear from you.

Submission guidelines:

  • 600–1,500 words
  • Must be original and exclusive to UA Tech Journal
  • Avoid generic advice or overly promotional content
  • All submissions are subject to editorial review before publication
