L’Oréal Ukraine Opens Student Track Under Startup Hub 2.0 Program

KYIV, Ukraine — 5 July 2025

L’Oréal Ukraine, together with Kyiv-based innovation park UNIT.City, has launched a dedicated track for university students as part of its broader Startup Hub 2.0 program. The initiative, aimed at advancing early-stage innovation in tech, sustainability, and inclusive design, is open to applicants through July 9.

Participants will join one of two categories: Build, for those at the idea stage, and Boost, for those with a working prototype. Selected teams will receive access to UNIT.City’s infrastructure for three months, invitations to private startup events through the end of the year, and the opportunity to present at the Startup Hub 2.0 final pitch event in Kyiv.

The program is free to join and delivered in a hybrid format, combining online training and mentorship with an in-person demo day hosted at UNIT.City.

The student track builds on L’Oréal Startup Hub 2.0, which supports Ukrainian-led ventures developing new technologies in personal care, green tech, deep tech, inclusive design, and omnichannel commerce. L’Oréal is one of several multinational companies investing in Ukraine’s startup ecosystem through local accelerators and academic partnerships.

Despite the ongoing war, Ukraine’s tech sector has remained active, with increasing engagement from both international firms and domestic institutions. L’Oréal’s continued involvement signals long-term interest in supporting innovation amid reconstruction and economic disruption.
